PHB-3000 hydraulic Brinell hardness tester is added for 10 ~ 15s by repeating 3000kgf test force for 3 ~ 5 times, but sometimes the instrument will have difficulty in adding force. Now let's know what will cause difficulty in adding force, so as to avoid or deal with this problem in time.
If the indenter is too long, the displacement of the indenter will not be enough when operating the force adding rod, so that the force can not reach 3000kgf. The treatment method is to press the indenter against the measured workpiece and vigorously shake the crank to push the indenter back to the original position.
Insufficient hydraulic oil will also cause insufficient displacement of the indenter, resulting in difficulty in force application. The treatment method is to add hydraulic oil to the instrument.
The specific steps of adding and replacing hydraulic oil are as follows:
Close the pressure relief valve, pull the booster rod and press out the pressure head by about 10 ~ 12mm.
Unscrew the oil cylinder cover, remove the oil bag nut under the oil cylinder cover with a special wrench, and take out the oil bag.
Open the pressure relief valve, shake the crank and push all the pressure heads into the probe body.
Close the pressure relief valve. Remove the screws fixing the probe on the probe clamp plate.
Remove the probe, pour out the old oil in the oil cylinder, and put the probe back on the support
Install the probe firmly on the bracket and tighten the screws.
Fill up with new oil and make the oil level flush with the steps in the oil cylinder.
